Hall Art Foundation Season Includes Vermont Made

[From the Hall Art Foundation] The Hall Art Foundation has announced three shows for the 2018 season, which includes Made in Vermont, a group exhibition of new and recently completed work by Vermont artists. The show is presented in its Reading galleries from 12 May - 25 November 2018. Along with the show of Vermont artists, the Hall Foundation's spring opening includes Hope and Hazard, A Comedy of Eros curated by American painter Eric Fischl and The Solace of Amnesia, curated by Alexis Rockman and Katherine Gass Stowe. Both shows draw from 25 to 65 works from the Hall Art Foundation's permanent collection.

The Made in Vermont show includes paintings, works on paper and sculpture by Mark Barry, Mildred Beltré, Patrick Dunfey, Terry Ekasala, Richard Jacobs, Sara Katz and Joseph Wheelwright. The show seeks to spotlight artists making innovative, fresh, and sometimes challenging work, "while living and working in Vermont." Included in the show are Backpacker trail guide Sara Katz and Backpacker favorite Midred Beltré.
