From visionary "founders" like Martha Graham to living "legends" like Hinda Miller, Marguerite Dibble and Alison Bechdel, Vermont women have a track record of creative entrepreneurship that exemplifies the adage, "doing well by doing right." Vermont-based products like JogBra and Mamava pods along with companies Zutano, Vermont Wood Studios, Terry Bicycles, Skida, Game Theory, April Cornell and Annie's thrive on a vibrant fusion of astute problem-solving and playful brand-making.
The Vermont Womenpreneurs Spring Showcase promises to be an exciting opportunity to meet some of today's working women bringing innovative ideas and products to market. Hosted by Vermont Womenpreneurs, the Showcase is inspired by a series of informal networking and support meetings organized among emerging women entrepreneurs. The Spring Showcase is their first event, which has been coordinated by Mieko Ozeki, a digital content strategist and the founder of boutique coaching firm Radiance Studios. The event is Wednesday, June 13 from 6:00-9:00PM at Burlington's Study Hall coworking space.
According to the organizers of The Vermont Womenpreneurs Showcase, it is "a curated exhibition, featuring 20 women-owned businesses from a mix of industries, services, and products." The evening is organized around a series of microexhibits and open networking time – with amazing app samplers provided by local women entrepreneurs. A portion of proceeds from the evening goes toward scholarships to support aspiring women entrepreneurs to attend business development classes at local organizations, such as Mercy Connections, Center for Women and Enterprise and the Women Business Owners Network.

Beenanza Design Company, which specializes in branding, packaging design, poster design, in-store displays and illustration.
Curly Girl Pops, LLC, a small batch popsicle business that makes (by hand) simple, healthy, and "made from the heart" popsicle snacks filled with antioxidants, vitamins and proteins.
Emma Cook Music connects people to music through instruction, live performance, and song-writing – all with attention and care to the individual.
Focused on Made in America and small batch manufacturing, Common Deer is a boutique bringing to market goods "with character" from craftsmen that create quality products and "drive our economy forward from the ground up."
Lindsay Selin Photography brings a clear, formal eye to architectural, styling and branding, and wedding photography to clients everywhere.
Share To Wear is an online service that enables anyone to share and rent out their wardrobe to others looking for unusual attire for a special occasion – without the cost.
