Backpacker Is Back!

Vermont director Michael Fisher on the set (michaelfisherfilm.com)

After a hiatus building shared workspaces in Boston and Brattleboro, Backpacker is back! Surveying the post-Covid landscape in Vermont, it is clear that much has changed - and much remains intact. Overall, the creative sector is thriving.

Its clear that there has never been a better time for a product like the Backpacker Guide, a friendly resource for diving into and exploring Vermont's rich creative sector. So in the coming months here's what we're going to do:

  1. First, update our network of spaces for creative connection. Some have thrived and some have died. New roots have grown deep throughout the state. I'll share what's up.

  2. Next, I'll be setting out to capture new stories - the people, ideas, and spaces where creativity thrives across Vermont. Got an idea? Please pitch to hello@creativermont.co

  3. Third, I'll be working with creative change-agents across the sector to identify points of connect and synergy - knitting diffuse activities into a powerful narrative and strategies.

There are many ways you can support this effort - you can become a sponsor, help out as a sector trail guide, and always, always join me on this journey as a subscriber.

Thank you, and I can't wait to hit the trail with you!
